This privacy policy explains how any personal information collected is used and why it is collected.

Information Required and our Legal Obligations 

When booking services, such as classes, events, private tuition, therapies or retreats with EmmaLiveYoga, personal information such as your name, phone number, and email address is required. There is also the requirement that you complete the Health and Disclaimer form for both remote and face to face teaching insurance purposes which can be downloaded from the ‘Yoga Classes/Yoga Events’ page of the website.When booking a therapy or retreat, personal information about your age and health in order for a treatment to go ahead is required. For all bookings, contact details in order to inform you of any changes to your booking are required. All the details described above are required in order to ensure that it is safe to provide services and also for insurance purposes. Your information will be stored securely for seven years after the date of the service provided.
The lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, this means that there is a legal reason to ask for personal data. The requirement is optional, however with direct respect to services, if personal data is not disclosed, EmmaLiveYoga will be unable to render the service due to non-fulfillment of insurance criteria.

All information provided is strictly confidential and we will not share your information with anyone outside of EmmaLiveYoga.

In the event that a yoga class is recorded (e.g. for insurance or marketing purposes) you will be notified prior to the recording. All recordings will be stored securely. In the event that the material is published, only the facilitator (EmmaLiveYoga) would be visible and audible and not the participant (you).  In the event an external facilitator or platform request to record a class, the particulars of privacy policy would come under their own jurisdiction and privacy policy, and not that of EmmaLiveYoga.

Consent for this process may be withdrawn at any time by emailing emma@emmaliveyoga.com or unsubscribing from any marketing material.
